How would the development of the movie have been if it was from Spain's point of view? How much of the story would have changed and what message would this view send?

To summarize what we discussed in our groups, along with our own personal opinion, we found it obvious that if the movie had been made from Spain's point of few then the whole story would have changed.
Spain would be the protagonist while England would be the antagonist. Elizabeth might be viewed as an evil woman fighting against the will of god and all that is holy while Spain could be viewed as the savior of Christianity and defender of the holy church and what not.
There would be a drastic turn of events that in the end would probably transmit us the opposite idea or message then what we received while watching the movie (England being sided by god himself, Elizabeth seen as someone who is divine and with grace, etc.).
To finish, we concluded that not matter if it's a historical movie or a documentary, history can be (and at times is) very subjective. History is told from someones point of view. That someone has his/her own upbringing, opinion, values, way of thinking, experiences, and so on. All these aspects influence the persons judgment in the moment they are writing history.
That is why we need to learn to be critical when receiving information. We can go even further by not just being critical with the information we have received, but to continue investigating and gathering info from different sources with varied opinions so as to formulate your own.
