2) What creative techniques are used to attract my attention?
The make-up the people that appear in the video are wearing, contrasting with the black background. I believe what really caughts people attention is the weird make-up and then you read the title and get curious.

There doesn't seem to be a deep meaning to this song, but maybe there is one. So, some people might just enjoy the song not getting any message, but surely there will be others that will beyond that, caring about the lyrics and what they imply.
4) What values, lifestyles and points of view are represented in, or omitted from, this message?
It's kind of a twist to the believe children have, or the stories they were told, that there was a monster living under their beds. In this song said monster is pictured not as something completletly evil, even if it is still shown as a creature living under someone's bed, this time the monster is actually friends with the bed's owner and it's kind of sad about being left behind by said friend.
5)Why is this message being sent?
The author just wants to share what he loves doing: music, and for free so that anyone who likes his songs can just download them.
