UNKLE - Rabbit in your headlight

1.-Who created this message?
“Rabbit in your headlight” is a song created by the UNKLE’s member, Josh Davis and the Radiohead’s vocalist, Thom Yorke.”

2.-What creative techniques are used to attract my attention?
Well, in regards to the music, it has a typical nostalgic touch of the British alternative rock, which makes a very engaging ambient. The guy with the jacket its another thing that makes it more interesting, as he is mumbling and shouting vague words, his mysterious look, and indifference about the cars , he still walking to his destiny.

3.-How might different people understand this message differently?
Maybe, when we see the final scene of the video (the guy, taking his jacket off, finally destroying the car ) some people can understand it as the victory of the man over the machine. All the incredible power of the machines is totally overcome by the simply but spectacular strength of the humankind. It doesn’t matter how scientific the invention may be, the most important creation in the world history is the human.

4.-What values, lifestyles and points of view are represented, or omitted from this message?
The main message this video sends is a vision of the humankind. We can see how the people in their cars pass watching him, swerving out of his way. Suddenly, some cars hit him, everybody is indifferent with him as the people in the street, someone tries to help them but just superficial.

5.-Why is this message being sent?
This message is being sent because people currently are very indifferent about the problems of others, no one cares about what is happening in the life of a person who could be in a worse situation. We must try to be more careful about what other people are feeling.
