1.- Who is created this message
This message was created by Nick Jonas, from The Jonas Brothers band.
2.- What creative techniques are used to attract my attention?
- It shows many different and normal people and this makes that who watchs the video could identify with them
- He shows his personal tags as "brother", "diabetic" and "just he"...
- Its ambient is simple, he plays with the band in a record studio, and the people show their tags and these aspects are not used frequently.
3.- How might different people understand this message differently?
Maybe, people can understand this message just like a lyric that want to sell, because if an artist says "I want someone to love for who I am" of course this is attractive for the fans. But the music video shows something else: There're a lot of people who show themselves and others don't know that they're not as they thinking, and have prejudices, for example the dark girl and she is an honor student, inclusive Nick Jonas, not all the fans know that he is diabetic.
4.- What values, lifestyle and points of view are represented in, or omitted, from this message?
I think that one the values that is represented in the video is not be prejudiced, we need to meet the people in deep to know who they are in the reality. Also, everyone wants to meet someone that love them for who they are, not for a simple mask.
Inclusive the video makes honor to people that is frequent in the society and we don't give them the importance that they rate, for example, the firefighters, they save our lives, an their tag is "proud to serve".
5.- Why is this message being sent?
This message being sent to discover who we are first, and then know the other people. It teachs us to be real in our life and if we going to love someone, to not be a mask to have a truly love.
I must to admit that I dont consider myself as a fan of jonas brtother and nick jonas. but a few years ago when I listened that song, I kind of like it , perhaps is the video and their images , the coulors of it and the simplicity .maybe the different people holding ''who i am''trying to descover themselves, trying to be accepted.
