winner of 3 Brit Awards and 8 Grammy Awards. She is known because of her
heart-wrenching songs, really nice voice, and the soul sound her songs have.
What creative techniques are used to attract my
attention?
Well, first of all, it is her voice. She sings in a
very distinctive tone. Second, the lyrics of her songs, they have so much
intensity, they get to your heart. The third thing is the music, everything
sounds just perfectly. I really like this video because it is a live performance
and there´s nothing better to judge someone´s voice.
How might different people understant this message differently?
The lyrics of this song are about trying to “buck up” the
courage to tell someone that you’ve loved for ages that you want to be with him. I think that many girls and boys have been in
that position. Maybe you have a friend, and you really like him or
her, but you don´t want to ruin the friendship because you don´t know if he/she
feels the same towards you. But you also have the situation when you know that the
person likes you and you like him/her back, but no one dares to say a thing
because you are afraid of what may happen in the future, and the opportunity
goes by, and it won´t come back.

This song invites us to be open with our feelings, we
can´t let love go by, we need to have courage and speak out.. We may suffer, we
may fall, bump our heads against the wall, but we will always learn and move
on. We can´t expect that everything will be perfect, but we will never know, if
we never try. We have to fight for someone if there is love between us.

We have to fight for love. We are scared of getting
hurt and we don´t jump of the cliff, so we have to dare and just do it. We have
to be strong and rely on the people that surround us, they also love us
