the planet, she has sold thousands of
records since her first single , “umbrella”, released in 2007. She was born in
Barbados on February, 1988.

my attention?
This song make me feel something that I cannot
describe. The lyrics combined with the rhythm its jus amazing. Especially at
the end of chorus, when start a kind of frenetic sensation in my mind.
3-how might people understand this message
differently?
Might be people can understand this messages as
idea that all of us can find love, it doesn’t matter if you are different (like
a yellow diamond) or if you are just different to to others.
Or might be people can understand it has an
idea of we can really find our love in this world full of hopelessness and bad
things and be happy.
Might be your real love is next to you, and you
haven’t even noted.
4-what values, lifestyles and points of views
are represented in, or omitted from, this message?
Just to enjoy and look four our real love,
wherever it is and don’t be afraid of different things.
To fight for love, its not important if is not forever.

This message has being sent to make us think
about the importance of love in this life, to make us fight and don’t give up if
something doesn’t work has we hope. Don’t be afraid of change.

ReplyDeleteDiego, I liked your points in 3, but on the other hand I have two qualms about this song: first, the use of the diamond as a metaphor, even though imaginative, leads us to think about blood diamonds. As a second point, let's not kid ourselves, Rihanna is a pop singer destined to be played in a disco: how does your profound vision of the song's lyrics fit the superficiality of the places where we will dance to it? Just a thought.
