1.- Who created this message?Coldplay, they are a British alternative rock band. The members of this band are Jonny Buckland (guitarist), Guy Berryman (bassist), Will Champion (Drummer) and Chris Martin (vocalist).
2.- What Creative techniques are used to attract my attention?
They use just simple things, things that we see every day . The lyrics of the song are to think about us, it says that we need to show who we are and if we make mistakes we have to try again to be better.
3.- How might different people understand this message differently?
Some people can understand this message as a way to be better because we need to try and try to learn about the life. Nobody taught us how to be a children or how to be a good son/daughter so we made a lot of mistakes but here we are showing to the world who we are.
4.- What values, lifetyles and points of view are represented in, or omitted from, this message?
This song push us to say things that we think. To express our ideas, our way to see the world. It makes to think that we can change the world.
This message is being sent to make us think if this is the world that we want. So, this band try to push us to make the difference.

Melanie, your comment is ok, but the last remarks lack any critical aspect. I know Coldplay is an engaging band, but doesn't it strike you as odd that they're messages are always politically correct and life-affirming? Or that they do not seem to be concerned with politics?
