"Dust in The Wind" is the seventh song of the album "Point
of Know Return" in 1977. It was written by Kerry Livgren.
I really like the rythm of the song and the sound of the guitar makes me relax.
Kerry's voice is awesome and also he sings slowly so I can listen carefully at the lyrics.
The lyrics give us a clear message. It says that "all we are is fust in the wind".
It means in a way, that we are insignificant if we compare with the whole world and it makes us think how fragile we are.
The second message is about living the present. We have to enjoy our life because it's to short
and also try to do the best of us.
The song is trying to make us think about the way we are living. If we're not happy,
maybe this is a good opportunity to change it and to start doing things tha usually we don't do and live everyday like its your last.

  1. Macarena, you forgot to state that the song is performed by Kansas. Blunders like this look trivial, but they can ruin a presentation.
In formal matters, proofreading is essential not to make mistakes as saying we are "fust" in the wind. Your meditation, more than developing an idea, just state it. Be sure to treat in depth what you propose. Why such a gloomy message in such a sweet song? (Remember John Lennon).
Who is the song directed to? Is the message connected to the times in which the song was composed?
